CONDUCTING AN INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP
8.12.2021 within the framework of partnership relations of the Geoengineering Department of SE IEE of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and the Department of Mining Faculty of Engineering of the DPÜ held a scientific event “The simulation program in GPSS/H is on “A Study of a Blast in a Mine”.
The speaker of the event was Dr. Necmettin Çetin, Department of Mining, Kütahya Dumlupınar University Faculty of Engineering.
The scientific topics of the event were aimed primarily at the implementation of joint research between scientists of departments, applicants of the II and III levels of higher education and stakeholders of the Geoengineering Department.
To participate in the workshop were involved: representative of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine head of the research laboratory on seismic safety of technological explosions institute hydromechanics Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Victor Boyko, representative of Shostka Institute of Sumy State University of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Deputy Director for Scientific Work Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Roman Zakusylo, representative of City University of New York, New York City College of Technology, Physics Department, Ph.D, Adjunct Assistant Profesor Victor Boyko and others.
Students and postgraduate students of the Department of Geoengineering took an active part in the event, it is especially necessary to note the master student Mohamed Gaima, whose joint supervisor is Dr. Necmettin Çetin.
From the entire staff of the SE IEE we express our gratitude Dr. Necmettin Çetin for the development of partnership relations between the Kütahya Dumlupınar University and Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
