Visits to Our Faculty from Two Different Countries
Between 25-29 July 2022, Vice Rector of Azerbaijan Technical University Prof. Dr. Subhan Namazov, Mining Engineering Department from Ukraine’s Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Dr. Olena Han, Assoc. Dr. Nataliia Shevchuk, Assoc. Dr. Liubov Haidetska, Viktoriia Vapnichna and Dr. from Zhytomyr Polytechnic State Universities. Vasyl Mamray, Assoc. Dr. Mariia Korbut, Herasymchuk Olena visited.
Our guests participating in the activities within the scope of Erasmus+ Training Mobility in the Mining Engineering Department and Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Departments, our faculty Dean Prof. Dr. They also visited Cengiz KARAGÜZEL. Emphasizing the importance of bilateral cooperation during the visits, the parties discussed issues such as student exchange, joint project development and joint scientific activities. Azerbaijan Technical University rector Prof. Dr. During his visit to our faculty laboratories, Namazov stated that they want to establish centers for engineering applications in their universities and that they can establish partnerships with our faculty on this issue. Dr. Cengiz KARAGÜZEL stated that they can support them together with all units of the Faculty of Engineering.
Within the scope of International Cooperation and Partnership, our Dean Prof. Dr. Cengiz KARAGÜZEL and Prof. Dr. Oktay ŞAHBAZ held an online meeting with the faculty members from the Ukraine Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and the head of the geoengineering department of the same university with online participation. At the meeting; The parties discussing joint international projects and seminars and student exchange at undergraduate and graduate level took a concrete step at the end of the meeting and signed an International Cooperation and Partnership protocol.
Stating that the visits made significant contributions to the efforts of our faculty towards internationalization, our Dean Prof. Dr. Cengiz KARAGÜZEL thanked everyone who contributed to the realization of the visits.
