Description of educational and scientific program
The educational and scientific program for the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education in the specialty 184 “Mining” was developed in 2016 and put into effect by the order of the rector of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.” Before the creation of the ESP, the training of postgraduate students was conducted with the establishment of the Department of underground construction (1994) in scientific specialties 05.15.03 “Open mineral deposits development,” 05.15.09 “Geotechnical and mining mechanics” and others. Only in the last 5 years 7 PhD dissertations and 2 PhD dissertations in the third (educational – scientific) level of higher education have been defended.
