This research focuses on the analysis of changes and stress - strain state of rock
massif during mining.investigated that change was the stress state of the rock mass in the production
of monolithic blocks may cause adverse effects in the formation of structural and
strength properties of natural stone;

proved that the largest concentration of stress occurs in the corner area. At the
corner of extraction of natural stone blocks 90 mentioned tension in the corner area
